Rev Thomas Clendon
The Rev. Thomas Clendon was christened 07 Nov 1695 at Broughton, Northants and buried 05 Aug 1757 at Sturry, Kent. He was at Rugby school 1704 and entered Emmanuel College, Cambridge, 25 Jun 1713, matriculated 1713, B.A. 1716/7, M.A. 1720. A deacon at Lincoln 04 Jul 1717, priest at London 13 Mar 1719/20, curate to his father at Fenny Drayton 1717, rector of Reculver, Kent, 24 Oct 1729 to 1757, vicar of Sturry 27 Jun 1734 to 1757, with Chapel of Hoath.
